The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community has drafted a paper giving all authorities an initial overview of the action and implementation needed in the area of electronic identification. This paper is available in German under "Downloads" on this page.
On 15 June 2016, the Federal Ministry of the Interior ans Community informed the other federal ministries about the content, status, technical implementation, applications and next steps in implementing the eIDAS Regulation in the area of electronic identification. The talks given at the informational meeting are available in German as a PDF file under "Downloads" on this page.
This paper does not cover the action and implementation needed in the area of trust services, which is the responsibility of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
